An early morning fire tore through a block of heritage buildings on Queen Street, between Bathurst & Portland Streets, in Toronto. These images were taken several days afterwards, as the structures were being demolished.
Nearly as dramatic as the fire itself, were the revealing layers of debris which dated to nearly a century before. A 19th-Century army barracks are believed to have been on the site, originally.
